Heart to Heart Publishing's new book, On the Wings of Words Given, Faith, Family, & Kentucky Life, is a collection of memories. The book not only recollects the life of Linda J. Hawkins; it also celebrates the creation and 20th anniversary of her legacy, Heart to Heart Publishing, Inc.

As you can read, Linda built the company with no idea of the success it would become over the last twenty years, or the joy it would bring her heart. However, Linda has decided to step back and focus more on her health and spending time with her family. As she steps into retirement, she is excited to announce the next heart to be touched by the blessing of this company, Elizabeth Lindsey. Elizabeth and Linda met through the company when Elizabeth joined the team as a freelance editor.

Elizabeth has spent the last ten years working to turn her passion for the written word into a career. As she worked towards this goal, the Lord guided her path to Linda. Neither Linda nor Elizabeth could have foreseen the events that have transpired, but both genuinely believe that God brought them to this place in the correct time to accomplish His will.

Both Linda and Elizabeth are excited to see the future of Heart to Heart stretch forward into the future. Linda does feel some angst at letting go of the company she built. She trusts the Lord's plan and will be continuing as an advisor and mentor to Elizabeth, a consultant for clients, for as long as her health allows. Elizabeth is excited to learn by Linda's side, grow in the Lord's role before her, and rejoicing in the hearts that the company continues to touch for another twenty years or more.

My family and I appreciate your support, kind words, the many cards, flowers, and prayers during my dear husband's passing. When life has given us extreme pain, it is good to have "Friends" like each of you.

It has been a joy, delight, and the utmost pleasure to work with all our team! H2H . . . YOU are the best! God's blessings on each of you. If you wish to stay in touch, I'll be your happy cheerleader on any new accomplishments.

It is hard to know how to end a conversation, I'm good with hi, hello's, and hugs, but goodbyes bring tears. I have realized it is time to move into a new phase of life. I will still plan to do a minimum of speaking and book signings as my health allows, and as writers, you know we cannot stop writing; it's always a part of who we are each day, which will continue.
