Harbaugh, Hooten named to Class 2A All-State Team

MORGANTOWN — Butler County runners Ryder Harbaugh and Case Hooten have been named to the KTCCCA Boys' Cross Country Class 2A All-State Team.

The Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association (KTCCCA) honored Harbaugh and Hooten. 

Both Harbaugh and Hooten excelled for Butler County throughout the 2024 boys' high school cross country season.

Harbaugh placed 12th out of 260 runners to lead Butler County in the KHSAA Class 2A State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Accompanying his teammate in the Top 25, Case Hooten placed 24th for the Bears at the state meet. 

The KTCCA Boys' Cross Country Class 2A All-State Team is as follows: Christopher Wells (Bourbon County), Grant Perraut (Bourbon County), Jesus Mendoza-solis (Bourbon County), Kenneth Salas (Bourbon County), Stephen Bryce Perraut (Bourbon County), Ryder Harbaugh (Butler County), Case Hooten (Butler County), Samuel Herbig (Christian Academy-Louisville), Will Sheets (Covington Catholic), Joe Mayer (Covington Catholic), Luke McLane (Covington Catholic), Jackson Germann (Covington Catholic), Braden Franxman (Covington Catholic), Kaden Boggs (Harlan County), Mark Reinhart (Lexington Catholic), Daxton Noe (Lexington Catholic), Dashawn Overly (Mason County), Ed Brannon (Mason County), Marshall Hart (Mercer County), Charlie Wolfrom (Paducah Tilghman), Casey DeSilvey (Spencer County), Riku Sugie (Thomas Nelson), Daniel Filiatreau (Thomas Nelson), Tristan Coy (Union County), Landon Higdon (Webster County).
