Craig and Becky Hankins of Morgantown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shira Beth Hankins, to Wade Martin Hughes, Jr. son of Rev. Wade Martin and Linda Hughes of Smiths Grove.
Shira is a graduate of Butler County High School and a graduate of Western Kentucky University.  She recently received her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Western Kentucky University. Shira is a Nurse Practitioner at Dr. Ghayth Hammad’s office in Morgantown.
Wade is a graduate of Warren Ease High School and a graduate of the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice’s Police Academy at Eastern Kentucky University.  Wade is a detective with the Bowling Green Police Department and a member of BGPD’s Critical Response Team.
The wedding will be at 2p.m. on June 21, 2014, at the United Methodist Church in Morgantown.  There will be a reception afterwards in the Fellowship Hall.  All friends and family are invited to come and share this special day with the couple.
