The 'Cave Country Trail Challenge' has returned for its fourth year, expanding to six months of free challenges across Warren, Barren, Butler, Hart, Edmonson, and Simpson Counties.

Rita Guyette is the #cavecountrytrailschallenge July winner of the fabulous Butler County Tourism prize package.

 The package includes:

--A pair of Maui Jim sunglasses from Dr. Todd Cohron, optometrist, Morgantown.

--A paddle from Cherry Bend Canoes LLC, David West

--Four nights stay at Woodbury RV park.

--A $25 gift certificate to Farmboy Restaurant

--A $25 gift card to Hebrews 12 Coffee

--A $25 gift card to Kuntry Kitchen Restaurant

The city of Morgantown, an official Trail Town, annually hosts several Green River events. The season typically begins with the most prominent event - the Green River Ramble during the first Saturday of June. The Green River has several locations to start your kayaking and boating adventures, including Woodbury Dock, Morgantown Dock, Leonard Oak Boat Ramp, and Rochester Dock.

The challenge's objective is simple; anybody is welcome to participate anytime. Contestants must visit any trail within the six counties, whether a walking trail, a paddling trail in a canoe or kayak, an equestrian trail, or a cycling trail. While on the trail, take a picture or video and post it to any social media platform with #CaveCountryTrailsChallenge, and they will be automatically entered to win that month's prize.
