Guthrie meets with local Superintendents and KASA
On January 31st, Dr. Rhonda Caldwell and Bob Rowland from the Kentucky Association of School Administrators organized a valuable meeting with Congressman Brett Guthrie and local superintendents. Through their leadership, local leaders were allowed to foster important discussions on education policy at the federal, state, and local levels. Congressman Guthrie's willingness to engage in open dialogue on critical issues that impact local communities was appreciated by all in attendance.

State Representative Rebecca Raymer also took time out of her busy schedule to join the conversation respective to the discussions being held at the federal level. Her dedication to advocating for our schools and students was evident in the discussions which were held. A special thank you goes out to Former State Representative Woody Allen for joining the meeting as well.
Superintendents Nick Carter (Breckinridge County), Jesse Bacon (Bullitt County), Seth Southard (Ohio County), Robert Tuck (Butler County), and Assistant Superintendent Marc Adams (Meade County) served as a panel of leaders and sharing their district’s stories and providing insight into the impacts of federal funding.
Butler County Schools was honored to host this important event at the Early Childhood Center. Butler County Schools remains committed to the belief that through these collaborative efforts we can continue working toward a stronger future for education in Kentucky!
