WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development office is awarding a $250,000 grant and a $1,422,000 loan to Butler County Water System to upgrade its waterline and improve water service safety.
 
“I am excited to announce this water development grant for Butler County,” said Guthrie. “This grant and loan will provide for a system upgrade and will update meter readings, which will improve efficiency in the services provided across the entire service area. This is great news for Butler County residents and I look forward to seeing the finished system when it’s completed.”
