The song so beautifully reminds us in the Chorus:  Jesus is the Answer for the world today. Above Him there’s no other. Jesus is the way. Repeat.”  Are you finding that for all your concerns, whether great or small, God’s Son supplies all the answers and solutions?  Here’s the key. Even though Jesus died for all of the world’s sins (1 John 2:1-2), if we don’t obey Him it is unacceptable to God  and we will give up our eternal salvation. 

    He should be three things to us:  our Savior, our Lord, and our Master and even more. Failure to exercise these roles of Jesus in our lives means we give up what is the Best thing we have ever had. Do you believe this?  Then do it.  As the angel spoke to Joseph to comfort and encourage him concerning Mary’s birth he was told, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall His name Jesus for He will save His people from their sins.”  He is our Savior through obedience. 1 Peter 1:18-19 claims we were not redeemed with things but “with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

      Jesus must be our Lord, that is ruler over our lives, and Master as we are His servants and He is our great Teacher.  In John 13:13 He says, “You call me Teacher (Master ) and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.”  He said this after washing their feet and admonishing His disciples to “wash each others’ feet.”  He gave the perfect example of service and humility. 

       Now, is Jesus your Savior , Lord, and Master ?  Remember, Jesus IS the answer. How could we refuse any and All opportunities to serve Him, whether it is studying about Him, fulfilling a need the church should expect you to complete, or  being open to giving of yourself in the kingdom.  Be sure to express and demonstrate that commitment daily.
