Green & Runion Overall Winners in the 36th Annual Green River Road Race

The 36th Annual Green River Road Race kicked off the 2017 Catfish Festival on Saturday with 52 runners and 3 walkers making the trip from Morgantown to Woodbury.

Jordan Green

Two Butler County runners claimed the top spots, Jordan Green was the top overall runner with a time of 29.37. Nolan Johnson finished in second place with a time of 31.58.

Parker Smith finished in ninth place with a time of 37.55. Nolan Johson finished second.

Ashley and Ben Runion

Ashley Runion was the top female runner with a time of 41.40 with her son Ben along for the run.

Jeff Whittinghill served as the race director. A long-time competitive runner, Whittinghill took part in the race and finished in seventh place overall with a time of 36:57.

Judge Himes is breaking a sweat.
