Barn Quilting was a main topic of discussion for the ladies of the Green River Chapter NSDAR at their April business meeting (and last several meetings).  

Peggy Boaz is chairing a several member committee to launch the project in Butler County.  She has always loved quilts, and being the avid gardener that she is, she will create and display a large Barn Quilt on the side of her home in Eden.  

A tour of the Barn Quilts in adjoining counties is planned for Saturday, May 19 and anyone wishing to participate in this caravan, please contact Peggy (526-3186), Betty Brown (526-3879), or Christine Coleman (526-4604).
