Green River DAR Open Lighted Courthouse Display

Members of the Green River DAR worked through-out Saturday morning installing this year’s lighted Christmas display, an annual wonderland all about the front courthouse lawn. Workers included Christine Coleman, Betty Brown, Casey Porter, Joyce Creager and Levi Johnson. “This is our sixth year of placing the display,” said Coleman. “We started in 2006.”

“We would eventually like to go all the way around the courthouse,” said Brown, as she anchored one of the featured lighted themes. The display is a nice addition to an evening drive through downtown Morgantown.
