Green River Chapter NSDAR elects new officers
Regent Melanie Hunt presided over the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Green River Chapter NSDAR. She attended the Kentucky Society DAR State Conference and brought home 14 awards for the Chapter.
She was elected KSDAR 2nd District Director and will be giving up the office of Regent of the Green River Chapter.
The following officers were elected: Regent, Rachel Sublett; Vice-Regent, Savara Smith; Chaplain, Elaine Daugherty; Recording Secretary, Debra Duncan; Corresponding Secretary, Sarah Duncan; Treasurer, Christine Coleman; Registrar, Savara Smith; Historian, Sheila Hunt; Librarian, Joyce Creager. Regent Hunt administered the oath of office to all newly elected officers and presented the gavel to Regent Sublett.
