Grant Money Available to Church Youth Groups in Butler County

People Who Care Ministries, Inc. was created to aid women and men in the recovery of drug and alcohol addiction by operating Andrea’s Mission and Andrea’s Mission for Men located in Morgantown. Their primary goal was to introduce people to Jesus Christ by guiding and preparing participants for returning to life as responsible drug-free citizens.  Both entities were licensed by the State of Kentucky and Joint Commission Accredited.  Unfortunately, the facilities were closed in 2019 due to a lack of funding.

In order to continue the mission that we were founded upon, People Who Care Ministries will be distributing monies to Church Youth Groups throughout Butler County that will enable them to expand their outreach.  In addition to the name and address of the church, there are three (3) questions that must be answered: (1) A description of the proposed project, (2) The goals and purpose of the proposal and, (3) a budget for the amount requested.  Completed applications should be mailed to People Who Care Ministries, Inc., Box 251, Morgantown, KY  42261.  All completed applications must be received by May 1,2022.

Applications can be found online at Happenings In Morgantown and Butler County.  Please share on your personal facebook page so that the opportunity will be known county-wide.  Questions may be directed online at the Happenings website or by Messaging Fran Flener.
