Gov. Bevin Appoints Blake Ross Chambers as Commonwealth's Attorney for the 38th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky

Blake Chambers is sworn in as the Commonwealth Attorney by Judge Tim Coleman.

 Gov. Matt Bevin appointed Blake Ross Chambers, of Morgantown, as Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 38th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky. Circuit Judge Tim Coleman adminstered the oaath of office to Chambers on Thursday at the Butler County Courthouse.

Chambers has been a prosecutor throughout the course of his legal career. He attended law school at the University of Louisville, graduating cum laude in 2009. Chambers was previously chief prosecutor for the Warren County Attorney’s office and Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 38th Judicial Circuit. Since January 2016, he has served as Assistant Butler County Attorney.

Chambers shall serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the  November 2018 midterm election, pursant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.

Chambers is married to Jodi (Southerland) Chambers.
