Republican gubernatorial candidate Alan Keck visited Butler County and toured the Butler County School District in a visit seeking to promote his vision and support of public education.  The visit also allowed him to get a first-hand look, according to school officials, into "what makes our educational system in Butler County great."  

Keck, the Mayor of Somerset, announced his candidacy for Governor of Kentucky in November of 2022 and focuses on education as one of his five pillars in the Keck Game Plan for Kentucky.  Keck was able to visit with teachers, staff, administrators and even took some hard-hitting questions from students at Butler County High School.  

Mr. Keck spent lunch visiting with potential voters at the Farm Boy restaurant where he spoke about his "Game Plan" for Kentucky, his vision for the future, and why he is the right person for governor of Kentucky.
