Ivan Martin was my father.  Born in Butler County, Kentucky in 1905.  He died in 1998.  Ivan and his wife Ermie Lee Martin spent their entire lives in Butler County, except a few years Ivan worked in Detroit and St. Louis.  He returned home and ran his coal mines and then started farming about 1937.
