Givens Elected 1st VP of Kentucky Magistrates & Commissioners
The Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association, headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky held its annual election of officers and directors last month at the association’s annual meeting on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Lexington.
Butler County Magistrate Stevie Givens was elected to serve as 1st Vice President of the Kentucky Magistrates & Commissioners Association.
“I am honored to serve the citizens of Butler County as Magistrate and grateful for the trust my colleagues have placed in me to represent and serve counties across Kentucky”, said Magistrate Givens.
Founded in 1952, the Kentucky Magistrates & Commissioners Association (KMCA) is a statewide nonprofit organization representing Kentucky’s fiscal courts in Frankfort. The Association serves as the unified voice for all 564 elected county magistrates and commissioners across the Commonwealth. In addition to advocacy, KMCA provides training, educational opportunities, and serves as a local government resource to county elected officials.
