CALHOUN — Butler County rolled past McLean County 11-1 in its 2023 season opener on Thursday, Aug. 10. 

Visiting Butler County controlled the girls' high school soccer match. 

Loree Davidson scored five goals and distributed one assist to lead Butler County to the win.

Following Davidson's leading performance for Butler County, Bailey Moore netted two goals and dealt out one assist.

Aiding Butler County in its victory, Addison Miller (one goal, one assist), Allison Johnson (one goal), Yesenia Diaz (one goal) and Caitlyn Wilson (one goal) contributed offensively.

Defensively for Butler County, goalkeeper Courtnei Alexander recorded nine saves while giving up only one goal.
