Gifted and Talented students participate in National Day of Giving
The first Tuesday after Thanksgiving is known as the National Day of Giving and Butler County students were able to be a small part of that initiative. Gifted and Talented students ranging from 4th-12th grade volunteered at the library, the mission, the animal shelter, and several of our schools.
Leslie Wood the gifted and talented teacher said, “the community and schools give so much to our students we wanted an opportunity to give just a little back in return to say thank you”. This was the second year we were able to donate our time and would love to continue this annual event. If your establishment would like to have a group of students volunteer next year, please reach out to Leslie Wood at firstname.lastname@example.org
