FRYSC's plan Family Fun Trail

This fall the Butler County Family Resource and Youth Service Centers (FRYSC's) will again sponsor the Family Fun Trail for the community. The event will be on Thursday, October 28th, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

“Last year this was a huge success and gave students and families a safe way to have fun and trick or treat from their vehicles,” said FRYSC’s Melissa Glass.  “We had stops for the families all over the county and drive-thrus at all of our schools. I think this is a great opportunity for middle school kids to be involved, since at their age they might feel they are ‘too old’ to go around and get candy.”

If your club/group/church would like to participate, please contact FRYCS as soon as possible so your location can be added to the map.  To participate you just need to set up and have something to pass out. It doesn't have to be candy, it could be another item (like a party favor).

“We strongly encourage you to decorate, or dress up - anything to make it more fun for families to drive-thru,” said Glass.

The YSC does have funds available to help clubs purchase items to hand out.
