The Butler County Fiscal Court held a called meeting on Wednesday, November 9th at the Butler County Courthouse. 
The court approved a motion (5-0) to make payment to the Butler County Sheriff Department of $7,232.48 for payment for a  new vehicle.
Next, they approved the hiring of Chaylee Melton as a part-time Animal Shelter employee.  The rate of pay was set at $9.50 per hour not to exceed 100 hours per month.
The court approved litter abatement payments to Temple Hill Baptist Church $600, Temple Hill Baptist Church Youth $550, and SK Lady Sluggers Softball $603. They also approved bills and transfers.
The court went into closed session to interview for a full-time ferry operator for the Rochester Ferry. After interviewing three candidates, the court hired Mark Filback.
