Fireworks & Ice Cream Benefit Tia Clark family.

Tia Clark & Bryan Blaine. Her children: Andrew & Jordan Dobbs, Lathan & Landon Clark.

On Friday evening September 2nd, a large crowd gathered together at the Rochester Ball Park to support the Clark family while enjoying a break from the hot weather.  The Tia Clark family lost their home and belongings in a fire on Monday, August 22nd and now their community has come together to help them during this trying time. This fundraising event was a joint effort by the Rochester Ladies League and the Rochester Ballpark Board.

The evening began with the first of two softball games between two local teams, Team TKY and Team Rampage.  Each player paid an entry fee of $10 to participate. The softball games were organized by Amber Smith, a member of the Rochester Ballpark Board.   Once the first game ended, the Rochester Ladies League served all visitors from the ice cream bar.

Serving everyone at the ice cream bar were Martha Roe and Allison Ramsey, both members of the Rochester Ladies League.  Individuals of all ages enjoyed the large variety of ice cream and toppings offered. During this time donations that included monetary, household, clothing, and personal care items were left with the Ladies League.

As dusk approached the crowd gathered for the fireworks, display prepared by Chad Smith.  Once the fireworks were done, the night concluded with another softball game.
The community would like to thank everyone who came out and participated in the fundraiser for the Clark family.
