Fire destroys building on Bowling Green Road

An early-morning fire at 4542 Bowling Green Road in south Butler County has destroyed a house connected to a garage. The property, owned by Dallas Pendley, is the site of the former Pendley Trucking building. The call came into dispatch at approximately 5:45 a.m. The house was being used as an office so nobody was in the building at the time of the fire.

Responding to the fire were firemen from the Morgantown, Rochester, Fifth District, Second District, and Hadley departments. Butler County EMS was also on the scene.

According to emergency personnel at the scene, the house was a total loss but the garage was saved.
