Extension Office: Upcoming Programs for October

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the following programs coming up in October. 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 1ST.  “HOLIDAY CRAFTS  – GIFTS FROM A JAR”, 10 am, Butler County Extension Office.
Plan to attend and get ideas of easy and unique items that you can make and give for the upcoming Holiday Season.  Everyone attending will get the opportunity to make an item to take home.  There is NO CHARGE.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, “JELLY ROLL 1600 RACE” QUILT CLASS, 10 am, Butler County Extension Office.
Attendees will need to bring a sewing machine plus sewing supplies.  You will need 40 2 ½” x 42” fabric strips if you wish to cut from your stash or 1 40-piece jelly roll material packet.  If you have an iron, please bring with you as there is quite a bit of pressing involved.  There is NO CHARGE, but we would like to have PRE-REGISTRATION if you plan to attend. Call the Extension office, 526-3767, to pre-register.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20TH, “FELT FLOWERS”. 10 am, Butler County Extension Office.
    Learn how to make Roses and Dahlias using felt. Felt will be provided but those attending will need to bring scissors,  glue gun and glue sticks.  After attending this class you will be able to return home and create wreaths and more. There is NO CHARGE for the class but we do ask that you PRE-REGISTER.
