Endorsement of Swift Candidate for Butler County PVA

The election is coming up in a few days and I want to take a moment and ask for your vote for Butler County PVA. This process started for me back in November and I've been working extremely hard to get out and see as many people as possible. I've battled the cold and snowy days in December, found roads I never knew existed and even had a few run ins with some K-9 friends.

To help make the connection, here is a little bit more about me. I've been a software engineer for 21 years in the finance and banking industry. I've also bought, sold and managed rental properties with Jason Jones for the past 5 years. I’m married to Wendy who has worked at the Butler County Sheriff’s office for 10 years. We have been married for 22 years and we have 2 children, Alyssa and Jonah. We live in Dunbar on the Tines family farm. My parents are Buddy Swift and the late, Inis Swift. My grandparents were Opal and Eva Dockery and Charles and Maurine Swift. Wendy’s parents are Faye Tines and the late, Ronald Tines. Her grandparents were Levi and Martha Barrow and Alton and Geneva Tines. Many of you may also remember me from my gospel quartet singing days of long ago, where I traveled around the county and the state with Derrick Coots, Chris Burden, Dan Hudnall and Geoffrey Johnson.

The PVA office is extremely important to our county, so much so that it requires that you take and pass an extensive state administered test before you can file to run for PVA. That test proved to me that I would be a great fit for this position and I think I have a unique set of skills that can greatly benefit our county. I'm not going to make a bunch of promises, but I can promise you that I will provide fair and accurate property assessments. I will treat your property as if it were my own and I will be committed to serving you and helping in any way that I can.

I humbly ask for your vote on Tuesday, May 17th, #2 on the ballot.

Thank you and God Bless,

Kenny Swift
