Butler County Softball Coach John Embry has resigned after 20 years and 19 seasons (one season lost to Covid) at the helm.

Coach Embry coached 19 seasons and was elected into the Kentucky Prep Softball Hall of Fame in 2017.

Record: 382-255 (382 wins is 15th all time in the history of Fast Pitch Softball in the State of Kentucky)

3 district Championships

.667 winning percentage (on average Coach won 2 out of every 3 games Coached at Butler Co over 20 years)

During Coach Embry’s tenure, seven ladies continued their careers through college:  CheyAnne Gaskey, Morgan Manning, Amy Rogers, Lynsie Clark, Cheyanne White, Hannah Chaney, and Madilyn Drake.
