Embry hired as Chamber Secretary

The Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce has recently hired a new secretary.  Kim Embry has been named to the position.

Embry released the following statement via the Chamber’s Facebook page:

“Hi, I am Kim Embry. I am new to the Chamber of Commerce, but not to Butler Co. I have lived my entire life here and graduated from Butler Co. High School in May 1986. (OH, I know that you are doing the math!)

I married my high school sweetheart Johnny Embry on Christmas Day 1986. We have one gorgeous daughter Courtney Embry; that we are so proud of and absolutely ADORE. Miley is our fur baby of almost 14 years. Ask anyone and they will tell you that Miley is completely and totally the BOSS of me! (Johnny and Courtney are too, but don't tell them!)

I have been employed at various businesses both full- time and part- time within our city over the past thirty-six years. My first job was at Kellwood Company for summertime income. After high school graduation, I immediately became a full- time employee. Kellwood is also where I had my first opportunity to do secretarial work. I have also worked at Truesdell Co. as a customer service representative. Jobe Publishing Inc., and D&D Manufacturing were temporary jobs while I continued working at my full- time job. Had to pay for the Associates Degree in Office Systems Technologies from WKU! Today I continue to work in our family business, Embry Family Lawn Care. I am actively engaged at Morgantown Community Church as the part-time Administrative Assistant.

I am very excited to serve our community with each of you! THANK YOU for the opportunity to participate as the Chamber Secretary!”
