On Monday, November 18th at approximately 1800 hours, Officers with the Morgantown Police Department assisted Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife with a traffic stop at N. Main and W. Morrison. The vehicle was operating with no headlamps illuminated and both occupants were found to have had outstanding warrants for their arrests. Further investigation lead to suspected Synthetic Marijuana, Suspected Cocaine, drug paraphernalia and an unidentified pill being discovered.

John A. Dean, Jr. both of Hardinsburg were charged with Trafficking Synthetic Drugs, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were lodged in the Butler County Jail.
