Drug Arrest on Thomas Street

On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, Morgantown Police Sargeant Denny Deweese and Chief Giles Taylor responded to 204 Thomas Street.

Through investigation, a resident at the location had an active warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, illegal drugs, and drug paraphernalia were found in the residence.

Thomas V. Smith was arrested and lodged in the Butler County Jail for possession of synthetic drugs and drug paraphernalia and an active warrant. The Department of Probation and Parole and Deputy Chris Reneer of the Butler County Sheriff's Department assisted.
