Drug Arrest on Carson Bridge Road

The Butler County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to Carson Bridge Road on June 5^th , around 4:31 am, concerning a subject asleep in a white Chevy truck on private property. Upon arrival Deputy Chris Reneer found Brian K. Tomes seating in the driver’s seat with the engine running and the window down asleep. Reneer observed a glass meth pipe laying in the driver’s floor. Tomes exited the vehicle and a baggie of suspected meth was laying in the driver’s floorboard. Tomes stated he had another baggie in his pocket. He was arrested and lodged in the Butler County Jail. The suspected meth was weighed, and the two baggies contained 1.62 grams. Tomes was charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense.
