Tara Hewitt has joined the staff at Dr. Ghayth Hammad’s office as the fifth nurse practitioner. Tara is a family nurse practitioner from Bowling Green, KY.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Louisville and then returned home to Bowling Green where she has worked for the past six years as a registered nurse, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. 

Tara earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Western Kentucky University in May and holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Tara is excited to join Dr. Hammad and Nurse Practitioners Shira Hughes, Jessica Johnson,  Kerissa McKinney, Pam Tomes, and their staff.
