A pot-pari (a jumble, of today’s thoughts).  I just love it.  I hope you concur. 

I watch TV quite a lot – I get some of my thoughts from it.  Some I agree with; some I don’t…naturally.

Beats me how the world is going to heck in a handbasket around us: North Korea, Iran, Russia; The Twelve-Year War in the Middle East, we can’t seem to get out of; Yet the left in Congress, like Congresswomen Maxine Waters (D. Mass.) and those of her ilk, are still trying to get rid of Donald Trump, snapping at his heels. Maxine Waters (D. Congresswomen) says she will start House proceedings to impeach our president if the Democrats win the House of Representatives in the coming November election. 

Now then Maxine. What are you going to charge him with, other than the fact that you don’t like him?  “Keeping in mind we all have old bones” we’d rather not see dug-up.  I sort of imagine you do too Maxine & THE LIBERAL PRESS.  Also, can’t give President Trump any kind of good word…they hate him.  A new broom sweeps clean –they can’t stand it, namely CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC…you could throw in PBS.

Some may remember Britain’s HMS QUEEN MARY, (HMS means Her Majesty’s Ship).

How big was Mary? She weighed eighty-one thousand tons.  From a speed of thirty miles per hour, it took twenty miles to stop her.

Her forward smokestack (there were three) laid down flat could accommodate three train locomotives side by side.  

At the onset of World War 2 she was converted to a troop ship carrying U.S. soldiers to and from Europe.  My brother was one of those.  After World War 2 she was back in service as a passenger ship.  But what with air travel coming of age, she became uneconomical to operate.  She began to lose money.  

However she was saved from the rust pile.  In the 1960s the City of Long Beach, California bought her and docked her there permanently, where she became a hotel and museum. 

She is visited by a million people each year.
