Dollar General Market "Officially" Opens

Several people waited in line for the official grand opening of the Dollar General Market in Morgantown on Saturday morning. Mayor Linda Keown, councilwomen Sharon Johnson and Dionne Merritt, Chamber President James Runion, Chamber Board member Randall Gaskey,and Donna Morris joined the Dollar General Market employees in officially opening the store.

After the ribbon cutting the doors opened and special coupons were given to those waiting in line. There was special pricing on several items, with a number of giveaways throughout the day.
The Matt Kenseth's NASCAR was on display from 11 to 4pm.
