District 3 Road Conditions - Sunday
Bowling Green, Ky. (January 24, 2016)-- Kentucky Transportation District 3 crews continue their efforts in clearing roadways across the district. The warmer weather and sunshine have been a tremendous help in greatly improving road conditions. Crews plowed overnight and resumed salting operations this morning.
Priority A routes are in great shape with some slick spots, but mostly just wet in the driving lanes. Priority B routes have been hit, along with Priority C routes and those routes are seeing improvement. Crews are continuing their work and are expected to work through the night with the focus being on Priority B and C routes. Warmer temperatures and sunshine are expected tomorrow which will aid the road crews even more.
There are some great KYTC resources and tools available to keep folks informed about road conditions. The District 3 Facebook and Twitter account will be updated regularly with the most up-to-date information. The links to some resources are listed below.
