A single-car accident in Butler County this morning has taken the life of a 33-year-old woman.  Melody Harris, of Belcher Road, was driving a Kia vehicle when she veered off the side of the road, apparently overcorrected, and then struck the end of a bridge on the Sugar Grove side of Dimple Road.  Harris was approximately 1.5 miles from her home when the accident took place at around 9:15 a.m.  She was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Butler County Coroner Gerald “Marty” Jones II. 
Responding to the scene were Butler County Sheriff Scottie Ward, Chief Deputy Heath West, Butler County EMS, Butler County Rescue Squad, and the Morgantown Fire Department.
