Delta Faucet completes $40,000 contribution to Leader In Me

Delta Faucet recently presented the last $5,000 payment that completed their total contribution of $40,000 to the Butler County System for the Leader In Me program.  Tom Pouge and Teresa Montogmery made the presentation.

North Butler Elementary and Morgantown Elementary students and the staff consisting of over 1,200 individuals are currently participating in the Leader in Me program.  By all accounts, it has received rave reviews.
"We know that every student has qualities that make them a leader and with this program we have been able to identify these and provide opportunities for every student to showcase their talents," said Butler County Schools' Superintendent Scott Howard.
"On behalf of the entire Butler County School System, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your commitment of $40,000.00.  You have made a one-time dream become a reality.  There is no doubt we would not have experienced the success we have seen without the fantastic people with Delta," added Howard.

Morgantown Elementary Principal Chad Flener and North Butler Elementary Principal Josh Belcher also thanked Delta Faucet for their contribution and shared the impact Leader In Leader has had in their schools.
According to Howard, it is the vision of the Butler County Board of Education to be a change-agent for culture and leadership skills for future generations, not only in the school setting but also the entire community.
"We feel like this endeavor is the single best thing we can do to develop our workforce for all of the industry and future industry that will have a major impact on our city and county.  Leader In Me is a llfe-changing program for our students," said Howard.

There were several parents, grandparents and family members, who are also Delta Faucet employees, in attendance as well for the presentation.
