Delta Faucet Company – Morgantown Recipient of Governor's Safety and Health Award

 Manufacturing facility worked 938,315 hours without lost-time injury or illness

 Morgantown, Ky., August 16, 2018 – Today, Labor Cabinet Deputy Secretary Mike Nemes visited Delta Faucet Company – Morgantown, to present their hard earned Governor’s Safety and Health Award. Delta Faucet Company – Morgantown has logged 938,315 hours without experiencing a lost-time injury or illness.

Dickerson stated. “Promoting workplace safety across the Commonwealth is our NO. 1 priority, and the people and processes in place at Delta Faucet Company - Morgantown make it easy to showcase their success as an example for other businesses to follow.”

  Delta Faucet Company - Morgantown is the largest private employer in Butler County, KY with 249 full-time employees. The manufacturing facility produces plastic injection-molding components for Delta®, Brizo® and Peerless® products. It also assembles various internal faucet components, such as electronic subassemblies and the cartridge used in faucets with DIAMOND™ Seal Technology. Active in the community and a supporter of education, Delta Faucet Company - Morgantown is a sponsor of Leader in Me® in the local school system and recently established a scholarship for Butler County High School students pursuing dual credit at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC).

 

The Kentucky Labor Cabinet presents the Governor’s Safety and Health Award to highlight outstanding safety and health performance in Kentucky’s workplaces. A business may qualify for the award if its employees achieve a required number of hours worked without experiencing a lost-time injury or illness. The required number of hours is dependent upon the number of employees.
