Debby Burden-Lanham: A View from My Lens...

Country as Cornbread

What a fabulous week God has blessed us with. I hope everyone reading feels the same. We often think it has to be something "huge" to realize how blessed they are, but blessings come in all shapes and sizes.

I went for a drive this past weekend (my favorite passtime) and ran across this photo opportunity. I just don't know if there's a picture i've taken that is more country. It kinda took me back to thinking what it was like back in the day of people living in these cabins and drawing water from the well, lighting only by coal oil lamps, reading the Bible by those lamps. Yeah, I kinda had a Little House on the Prairie moment. But don't you know it was such a much "calmer" life back then? I never lived that life, but I have alot of thoughts of what it had to be like and sometimes wonder if it wouldn't be better to live that life now.

I wish everyone a fabulous weekend and a great week ahead. Thank you for reading my column and thank you for supporting Lazi Daze Photography. Please be sure to check out my prints hanging at Beech Tree News/WLBQ office, on FB under Lazi Daze Photography page, and also on my website lazidazephotography.com.
