Current Version of GED Test Expires At End of 2013

GED testing centers in Kentucky encourage adults to finish and pass before test deadlines!

Morgantown, KY- Today, Butler County Adult Education Center (BCAEC) announced that the current version of the GED test will expire at the end of 2013. The current version, known as the 2002 Series GED test, will be replaced with the new 2014 GED test on January 2, 2014. This is a totally different version and set up.
Those who have taken the 2002 Series GED test, but not passed all five parts, have until the end of 2013 to pass or they will need to start over again in 2014 with the new GED test in order to receive their high school credential. This test requires all sections to be taken every time, instead of just the section that was non-passing.
According to Delia Burns, Coordinator of BCAEC; “The GED test opens doors to various opportunities, such as: college, better jobs, and above all self respect of achieving such an enormous goal!” “So we want everyone to be aware of the deadline set for the change. All past GED test takers must act now to finish and pass before the current test expires.”
For all residents of Butler and surrounding counties, support is available here in Butler County at the BCAEC. We can help adult learners get prepared to take the parts of the GED test that they still need to pass, as well as get them ready to advance their education in other areas as well. Because we want you to succeed, don’t delay, call today!!
