According to Butler County Sheriff Scottie Ward  a crop spraying helicopter lost power and crashed in a soybean field in Butler County on Friday morning.  

The helicopter went down in the Davies Crossroads area of Butler County.

The pilot was airlifted from Butler County to Vanderbilt the passenger was not injuried.

The helicopter was totally destroyed.

Investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
