Coronavirus Food Assistance Program – Round 2 for Farmers

Butler County farmers, whose farming operation has been damaged by market disruptions from Corona Virus, can apply for CFAP 2 program funds through the USDA FSA Office here in Morgantown.  Earlier this year, the CFAP program provided much needed financial assistance to many of the farms in our county.  The signup period for CFAP 2 is from now until December 11, 2020.  Most of the farm commodities produced on Butler County farms are eligible to participate.  Beef Cattle producers are eligible to participate in this program

Information on eligible farm products and how to sign up are found at:  https://www.farmers.gov/cfap
