Congressman Guthrie visits CASCO

CASCO was honored to host Congressman Brett Guthrie, State Representative Suzanne Miles, Morgantown Mayor Billy Phelps, Butler County Judge Tim Flener, and others for a tour on July 25.

CASCO Productions Corporation provided a comprehensive overview of the company, shedding light on its ambitious objectives and plans.

Plant manager Matt McKiddy, who has been with CASCO since 2022, shared his focus on fostering a strong, winning workplace culture. He underscored the importance of team building, a positive environment, and community engagement.

The big three automakers —Ford, GM, and Chrysler —comprise about 85% of CASCO's total business.

Amphenol owns CASCO but allows operational independence and entrepreneurial culture. Amphenol is a publicly traded Fortune 500 company. CASCO generates 60-65% of its global sales from Morgantown, primarily serving the U.S. Key production partnerships are with plants in Indonesia, Tunisia, Germany, Italy, Brazil, and China.

Operational Excellence Manager April Graham and other employees shared their various employee engagement activities, including holiday celebrations, birthdays, contests, service awards, and cookouts.

CASCO held its first annual 'We Care Week,' a week dedicated to services for employees, community education, and collaboration with local companies. It was a big success, raising $3,925 and making donations to seven community organizations: Rochester Flood Fund, Morgantown Mission, Friends of Butler County Animals, Butler County Rescue Squad, Boys and Girls Club Legacy Care, and the Butler County Cancer Assistance Group.

CASCo has won multiple Supplier of the Year awards from Ford, GM, and other companies. They hold Q1 certification, IATF, and ISO 14001 certifications. They achieved the Amphenol Diamond Award for three consecutive years, requiring 20% OI and 10% growth.

We love being part of the community and hope to continue to grow in Morgantown and Butler County," added McKiddy.
