Coleman selected as a "Women in STEM High School Aerospace Scholar"

Hollie Coleman, a junior at Butler County High School, has been selected as a "Women in STEM High School Aerospace Scholar." This program is run by NASA and competitively accepts female juniors in high school who are considering careers in engineering. Hollie's exemplary grades, maturity, participation in BCHS science club, leadership in BCHS Rocket Team, and participation with last years rocket team, which placed 14th in TARC national competition, helped secure her position as a scholar.

As a participant in this program, Hollie will be working in an online community including high school students from across the country, NASA experts, and science teachers to learn more about space exploration. Scholars will be competing for a chance to attend a workshop this summer at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

Hollie is the daughter of Michael Coleman and Renee Coleman. Congratulations to Hollie on this achievement.
