Coleman and Cardwell Begin New Terms

Commonwealth Attorney Tim Coleman and Circuit Clerk Melissa Cardwell

Commonwealth Attorney Timothy R. Coleman and Butler County Circuit Clerk Melissa Cardwell were sworn in on Wednesday by Judge Ron Dortch at the Butler County Courthouse. Dortch praised the work of both Coleman and Cardwell.
“They both do an outstanding job for the people of Butler County,” said Dortch.

Coleman is beginning his third ( six year) term as Commonwealth Attorney for the 38th judicial circuit representing Butler, Edmonson, Hancock and Ohio Counties. His assistants Blake Beliles, Mark Yurchisin, and Nathan Kolb were also sworn in during the ceremony.

Cardwell is beginning her second (six year) term as Butler County Circuit Clerk. Also sworn in were deputies Kristy Howard, Fammie Green, Kristen Southerland, Lauren Henderson, and Amanda Strasburger.
