Clark named to RSC Softball Champions of Character Team

MIDWAY - Midway University senior Lynsie Clark has been named to the River States Conference Softball Champions of Character Team. A graduate of Butler County High School, Clark hails from Morgantown.

The RSC Softball Champions of Character Team consist of one representative from each school who best represents the five character values of the NAIA Champions of Character, which are: respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.

Clark had a solid season for the Eagles in her final year of collegiate softball. The Morgantown native compiled a .250 batting average and a .379 slugging percentage. Clark also delivered two home runs, two triples and seven doubles. The senior collected 21 RBIs while scoring 25 runs.

The Eagles finished the season with a 23-22 record overall. Midway finished runner-up in the River States Conference Softball Tournament to advance to their first-ever NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round.
