Rochester Ferry Committee
The ferry is jointly owned by Butler County and Ohio County. The purpose of this committee is to oversee the operation of the ferry. The committee meets monthly. This is an unpaid committee.

Members of the board are Butler County Judge Executive David Fields, 3rd District Magistrate Chad Tyree, Ohio County Judge Executive David Johnstone, Ohio County Magistrate Kenny Autry, Allen Smith, Mike Porter, Pam Thompson, and Walt Beasley.

Citizens Advisory Panel
The purpose of this board is to work with the economic advisor to look at ways to attract new businesses to the area. This is an unpaid panel.

Members of the panel are Tony Cottrell, Bryant McClellan, Greg Drake, Lynda Knight, Darrell Wilson, Darren Rice, Randall Gaskey, Kay Romans, Tom Jones, Kathern Jennings, Kenneth Embry, Foy Gabbard, Alisa Parrish, and Gary Smrtic.

Tourism Committee
This committee oversees and distributes monies collected from local motel taxes. This committee meets once a month and the members receive no pay.

Members of this committee are Roger Southerland, Diane Dyer, Becky Hankins, Terrell House, Doug Odle, Brenda Longhoffer, and Darrell Deweese.

Butler County Ambulance Service Board
This board meets once monthly while overseeing the Ambulance Service. This board also sets the ambulance tax rate. This is an unpaid board.

Members of the Ambulance Service Board are Mark Hood, Don Sullivan, and Pat Daugherty.

Occupational Tax Committee
This newly formed committee was designed to look into the County's Occupational Tax. Members of this committee receive no pay.

This committe is comprised of Butler County Attorney Richard Deye, Sherrif Scottie Ward, Occupational Tax Officer Sandy Keown, Chamber President Jamie Chaney, Melissa Embry, Tommy Drake, and James Runion.

Butler County Animal Assistance
This board meets quarterly to address concerns from the Butler County Animal Shelter. Members of this board receive no pay.

Members of this board are Mike Porter, Kim Phelps, Anna Hunt, and Richard Deye.

The Health Department Board, Extension Agency Board, and Library Board set the tax rate for each service. The Mission Board is appointed by the Fiscal Court. The Election Board is appointed by County Clerk Shirley Givens and are required by law to receive a set pay.
