Chamber plans ribbon-cutting ceremonies, other events

The next few weeks are looking to be busy ones for the Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce as several events are planned.

Two ribbon-cutting events are on the schedule - one marking a new business and the other a significant renovation.

On Thursday, July 29, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for Diaz Ranchito Mexican Restaurant at 11 a.m. It is located at 219 Veterans Way in Morgantown.

Then, on Wednesday, August 4 at 9 a.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the Save-A-Lot Store in Morgantown, which is located at 723 W. G.L. Smith Street.

The Chamber will also be hosting a “Coffee Hour” on Wednesday, August 18, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. It is sponsored by SKYCTC and will be hosted at Kuntry Kitchen.

Finally, the Chamber monthly luncheon will be August 26, at 12 noon, at Morgantown Community Church. It is sponsored by the Butler County Board of Education.
