Chamber Luncheon features Building Bridges 4 Life

Morgantown Mayor Linda Keown assisted James Runion with the door prizes.

Morgantown- Butler County Chamber held their February luncheon at the Butler County Extension Office.  Sponsors included: Servpro, Drake’s Farm Service, Embry & Watts, CPAs, PBI Bank, Butler County Attorney Richard J. Deye, Advance Heating and Cooling/Quality Supply, Morgantown Prescription Center, Morgantown Utilities, and Jones Funeral Chapel & Monument Company.  The meal was catered by Country Fine Swine. Chamber President James Runion welcomed guests and members.

Jim Green of Building Bridges 4 Life

The guest speaker was Jim Green, administrator at Green River Boys Camp, owner of Building Bridges 4Life, and a certified member of the John Maxwell Coaching, Speaking, and Teaching Team.
 Green posed the following question to those in attendance, “Is 2014 going to be the best year ever in your life? If so, it is going to require action, what are you going to do different?”
“Are you winning with people in your life? The success that we will have in life will be attributed more to our people skills than our knowledge of a product or service,” said Green, as he shared insight into building relationships.
“Building relationships require that we understand people, love people, and help people,” added Green.
Green facilitates Mastermind group studies and has two starting soon:

  • Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn by John Maxwell, 5:30-6:30pm at Morgantown Community Church on Monday nights starting March 17- May 5, cost $49.95
  • How to be a Real Success: Winning with People by John Maxwell,6:30-7:30pm at Morgantown Community Church on Monday nights starting March 17- May 5, cost  $49.95
