Another small business in Morgantown is now open.  On Friday, December 14, Caterpillar Lane Childcare, LLC held a ribbon cutting to launch their new endeavor.

The owners are Stacy and Ben Hayes.

Stacy Hayes is the director at Caterpillar Lane Childcare, a state licensed facility. She has lived in Butler County her entire life. Hayes is a 1997 BCHS graduate and a 2017 graduate of Henderson Community College. She obtained her associates degree in Applied Science in the field of Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. She also holds directors' credentials from the state of Kentucky.

"We are a childcare facility that focuses on the whole child and their care," said Hayes.  "Developmentally appropriate toys and materials are available to the children in each room so they can learn and play at the same time. Staff develop lessons and activities that help the children grow physically as well as cognitively. Children are encouraged to explore and participate in many activities that help them grow socially and emotionally as well. We feel it is important to nurture the whole child so they can develop to their full potential," she added. 

Hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the following classes are available:  0-12 months, 1-year olds, and 2-year olds, preschool for 3, 4, and 5-year olds.  Enrollment is open.
