The Butler County Fiscal Court had a busy week last week with two called meetings to take care of time sensitive issues.  On Tuesday the court approved a resolution and agreement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet regarding $200,000 for the rural secondary road fund.  According to Butler County Judge Executive David Fields the money will be used to make repairs to existing roads throughout the county ( Hutcheson Drive, Ashalan North Road, Ashalan South Road, Hunters Point Drive, Frank Kitchens Road, and Region Road).  Next the court approved the payment of bills and transfers to date and the refund of overpayment of occupational tax by Waste Management $54, Glenn Whittinghill $304, and Houchens $410.
The court met again on Thursday with only one item on the agenda.  The court approved the 2013 Final Tax Settlement (subject to audit) of Butler County Sheriff Scottie Ward.
