Butler County wins NASP Region 3 Invitational

BRANDENBURG — Butler County won the NASP Region 3 Invitational at Meade County High School on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Thriving throughout the NASP Region 3 Invitational, Butler County shot a 3,381 to finish first in the team standings and take the tournament title. 

Among the area's top high school archery teams, Butler County featured several standouts during the tournament. 

Leading Butler County in the region event, Tobin Maxfield was the Top Overall Female. Maxfield shot a 292 to earn a first-place finish in the NASP Region 3 Invitational.

Following her Butler County teammate, Elli Ellis shot a 290 to finish second in the Meade County-hosted tournament.

The other archers from Butler County who received awards in the NASP Region 3 Invitational were Graysen Henderson (fourth), Maelynn Bilicki (third), Mackenzie Tyree (fourth) and Malia Meredith (fifth).
